Mountain of mortgage paperwork

The mountain of paperwork my dining room table is under as The Husband and I get approved for a home loan is slightly overwhelming this morning. We have bank statements, W-2s, addendums, documents, file folders and retirement statements. It took four months for us to find a house worth putting an offer on, nearly a week of negotiating with the owners to come to an agreed price, and a weekend to muddle through the paperwork sent to us by the mortgage company. This morning, we spent two hours gathering the appropriate documents, signing the paperwork and putting it into different piles. I'll take it down to the FedEx today and ship it off to our selected mortgage company. Hopefully, we'll hear back from the current homeowners today on whether or not they will go through with our requested repairs. I really hope so, as we love this home.
